Hello! How do you spend your Friday? I think most of you have to school or job, but it’s a weekend! So please give it your all!! By the way, I met high school’s friends recently. I talked with them; I came to my high school days. So today I would like to tell you about my memories of high school.
When I was freshman and sophomore of high school, I was member of school festival’s planning community. My high school’s festival is really large scale. For example, there are about 2500 students and about 200 teachers in my school. And about 10000 people come to my school to join. So we must plan for so many projects. But, our community member was only 50 people. So we were really busy everyday. Can you imagine that what kind of jobs we do? There are so many things. For example, we have to plan some projects, to make booklet, to take control associations and so on. Sometime we negotiate with tenders. Our school festival is held in September. So we have to work not only in first semester, but also in summer vacation. I went to school everyday and I worked from 9’o clock to 5 or 6’o clock. It was really hard for me. I have suffered from the summer heat for 2 years. But I didn’t absent for community’s work.
As I said before, community’s work is really hard. But it was really fun for me too. Because I can see many people’s smile. And many people say for me that “thank you! This school festival was so much fun!!” I like people’s smile and these face and word make me happy. This experience is my treasure. And I never forget about this memory.
I have DVD which our school principal dancing in ceremony. If you want to see it, please ask me.
Ayumi, that's amazing that you planned an event for so many people. It is a very good experience I think. Did you organize any events for Bunkyo's festival?
By the way, I'd like to see that DVD.
